Studies for design of hexagonal wire weaving machine had started on 2002 in connection with market demands and experienced, obtained with wire fence weaving machine, on "Wire weaving machine manufacturing.
Although this kind of wire has some advantages and disadvantages compared with wire fence, most important preference reason for it is its manufacturing without problems with wire diameters under 2 mm (up to 1,2 mm). As a result of this, hexagonal wire can be sold with low prices. It is nearly impossible to weave from this kind of fine wire due to fence wire weaving method.
ADG 1 is the firstly designed model for hexagonal wire weaving machine, and on 2004, our first product had started to be used. Its production is continuing in connection with received orders. Demirci Makina, who is rapidly continuing to its research and development studies on this issue, is aiming to launch new models of these kinds of wire weaving machines on the following years. ADG 1 model machine has a capacity 60 square meters per hour. It can weave wires with 1,9 mm and 1,2 mm diameter. Machine is composed of coil wrapping and weaving sections. Both mechanisms are on the same chassis. Weaving method is "plain auger". It produced at 2 meters and lower wire weaving widths. ADG 1 is producing among single eye gap. When its hexagonal shape is considered, this eye gap size is 11 cm X 7,5 cm.
